GAINESVILLE — The Florida Gators begin the rest of their season without Feleipe Franks today against Tennessee, and quarterbacks remain the focus.

A UF fan held a sign reading Feleipe Strong as the Gators entered Ben Hill Griffin Stadium.

Presumptive starting quarterback Kyle Trask got a big ovation from the crowd, too, and was one of the last players to enter during the Gator Walk.

At 10:31, Franks wheeled his way onto the field. He’s expected to be out for six months with a dislocated/broken ankle. Surgery is scheduled for Monday.

As I write, Franks is sitting on a medical scooter watching Trask warm up with UF’s receivers.
