ST. PETERSBURG — In preparation for Rosh Hashana, the Jewish New Year that begins at sundown on Sept. 29, the Jewish Federation of Florida’s Gulf Coast is hosting a special program, “PJ Library: Rosh Hashanah & the Honeybee.”

The free event for children ages 8 and under with their families and caregivers will take place from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Sunday at the Museum of Fine Arts, 255 Beach Drive NE, St. Petersburg.

Allison Davis from Noble Nectar Apiaries will offer visual and interactive displays of bee colonies and a fully contained observation hive. The program will conclude with a craft and honey and apple tasting while listening to a PJ Library story.
