Man, 18, arrested in shooting of woman outside Brandon Home Depot

TAMPA — Be’Quadre Jackson, 18, was arrested Wednesday in connection with the shooting death of a woman outside a Brandon Home Depot store.

Jackson is charged with first degree murder, robbery and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Deputies were called to the store parking lot about 9:15 p.m. April 7. The woman had been shot once and pronounced dead the next day at Tampa General Hospital. Her name has not been released.

The shooting is believed to be drug-related, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office said, but the agency did not release any other details.
