Police will escort participants in the 11-mile “Alive” ride through the Pinellas Park starting at England Brothers Park, 5010 81st Ave., with visits to Lurie Park, fire stations and Mainlands Senior Living Community, so the public can thank veterans for their service.

Many injured veterans will participate in the ride as part of Wounded Warriors Abilities Ranch’s mission to inspired veterans to get out and be active. Children and general riders or runners are free, and all will receive lunch, refreshments and a free T-shirt. Riders can sign up at woundedwarriorsabilitiesranch.org
