Hillsborough deputies release name of woman found dead on side of Lutz road

LUTZ — Deputies on Thursday released the name of a woman found dead on the side of a north Hillsborough road a day earlier.

Passing motorists found the body of 22-year-old Mollee Serafin on the side of Sierra Pines Boulevard shortly before 7 a.m. Wednesday and called 911, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies did not have a local address for Serafin.

No other information has been released. The investigation continued its investigation Thursday. Anyone with information on the case is asked to call the Sheriff's Office at (813) 247-8200.
