Of all the artists who've risen to superstar-level prominence over the last couple of years, the most surprising might just be Post Malone.
The face-tatted Texas rapper and singer seemed like he might've had one-hit-wonder potential with White Iverson. But he proved resilient enough to release a string of hit singles (Congratulations, Rockstar) that led to last year's Beerbongs and Bentleys, a monster of an LP that got nominated for Album of the Year at the Grammys and put Posty on a straight shot to arenas.
Now, finally, after all that -- and a few misadventures along the way -- Post Malone is about to return to Tampa.
His just-announced new tour will hit Amalie Arena on Oct. 24, with opening acts Swae Lee and Tyla Yaweh in tow. Tickets are $49.75 and up, and they go on sale Friday. Click here for details.
The inclusion of Rae Sremmurd's Swae Lee on the bill means we should get a solid live rendition of Sunflower, the duet between Post and him that's been yet another huge hit since its release. Between that, Better Now, Psycho, Wow and a ton of other smash singles, it should be a hit parade from top to bottom.
