Little Big Town may be Grammy-winning country stars who are used to playing arenas and amphitheaters. But that doesn’t mean they can’t mix it up once in a while.

The Girl Crush group on Monday announced it will debut its new album Nightfall on a theatrical tour this spring, including two nights at Clearwater’s Ruth Eckerd Hall on Feb. 26-27. Caitlyn Smith will open. Tickets are $39, and will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday. Click here for details.

While they’ve achieved serious mainstream success with hits like Day Drinking and Pontoon, Little Big Town is clearly going for something a little different on this tour. It kicks off with a show at Carnegie Hall in New York, the first mainstream country performance there since 2013.

The Ruth Eckerd Hall shows — their first — will overlap slightly with the beginning of next year’s Florida Strawberry Festival. Tickets purchased online will include a CD of Nightfall, scheduled for release on Jan. 17. Check out the first single The Daughters here.
